Online Learning Portal, HSELanD Nominated for Two Prestigious HR and Training Awards
The Irish Health Service Executive’s online leaning and development portal, HSELanD, has secured two finalist spots for ‘Most Innovative Use of Technology’ at the Irish Institute of Training & Development Awards and HR Leadership and Management Awards
Aurion Learning is the online learning partner of the HSE and designed and developed HSELanD in collaboration with the HSE team.
The double award nominations add to a growing list of accolades for the HSELanD team who recently won a prestigious Gold Brandon Hall Award in 2016 with Aurion Learning for Best Learning Team and a Bronze Award for Best Advance in Learning Technology Implementation in 2016 and Gold Award in 2013.
Recognised as the premier cross-industry events for HR, Learning & Development in Ireland, the IITD awards and the HR Leadership and Management Awards promote excellence, best practice and innovation in HR and learning.
Commenting on the news, Tony Liston, General Manager, Leadership, Education and Development at HSE said:
“The team are delighted that HSELanD has been shortlisted for these prestigious industry awards and I’m extremely honoured that our HR Leadership, training and educational efforts are being considered alongside the outstanding projects that have been submitted by all the nominees.”

HSELanD provides a central source of high quality online training, learning and development to over 100,000 healthcare professionals within the HSE, health care and voluntary organisations throughout Ireland.
The online learning portal provides healthcare staff access to over 140 E-Learning programmes, a PDP workbook, 360 degree competency assessment and 14 collaborative learning hubs to facilitate knowledge sharing among multidisciplinary groups.
As well as delivering support and maintenance to HSELanD, Aurion Learning also provide a full range of online learning and development services, including custom eLearning modules and online learning consultancy to support the HSELanD team.
The winners of the HR Leadership and Management awards will be revealed on Thursday 2 March 2017 in Dublin and winners of the Irish Institute of Training & Development Awards will be announced on Friday 3 March.
