New Online Learning Resource Launched to Support Mental Health Services Staff and Users
The Irish Health Service Executive has launched a new online learning resource, ‘Introducing You to the HSE Best Practice Guidance for Mental Health Services’ for all staff working in Mental Health Services, across all settings and service users.
As sole eLearning partner to the HSE, Aurion Learning designed and developed the new custom built eLearning module to introduce the HSE Best Practice Guidance for the mental health services, to help improve the quality of mental health services in Ireland.
The new bite-size online learning resource focuses on developing awareness, knowledge and application of the new guidance, and includes an interactive animation to explain the new guidelines and digital stories from healthcare professionals and service users to engage learners.
The Best Practice Guidance for Mental Health Services is a document that provides direction on how to deliver safe quality mental health services in Ireland. It has been developed by the Quality Service User Safety (QSUS) service within the HSE National Mental Health Division in consultation with service users, families, carers, staff and experts in the field.
The online learning programme is available through HSELanD, the HSE’s online learning and development portal.
‘Introducing You to the HSE Best Practice Guidance for Mental Health Services’ is one of over 140 eLearning programmes and resources available to the 100,000 healthcare staff at all levels within the HSE, health care and voluntary organisations throughout the Republic of Ireland.
Notes:
As well as delivering support and maintenance to HSELanD, Aurion Learning also provide a full range of online learning and development services, including custom eLearning modules and online learning consultancy to support the HSELanD team.
