Dublin Food Chain Select Aurion Learning to Deliver E-Learning Platform for Digital School of Food
Following a formal tender process, the Dublin Food Chain (which comprises the four Dublin Local Enterprise Offices (LEOs) for Fingal, Dublin City, South Dublin and Dun Laoghaire-Rathdown) have selected Aurion Learning to design and develop a new online learning platform initiative called the ‘Digital School of Food’.
Aurion Learning will design and develop a suite of multi-device learning modules, comprising video learning content, animation, assessments and supporting learning resources.
The learning modules will sit on a deployment of the LearnUpon learning management system that will be configured by Aurion and branded as the Digital School of Food.
Gavin Woods, Client Services Director at Aurion Learning said:
“We are delighted to be supporting the work of the Dublin Food Chain and the four Dublin Local Enterprise Offices on this exciting project.
When completed, the Digital School of Food will play a key role in supporting Food Producers in the greater Dublin area to acquire and enhance the skills they need to grow their businesses.
Having worked on a number of recent projects targeted at Food Businesses; we look forward to applying our learning content and platform design skills in support of this innovative initiative.”
The Digital School of Food elearning platform is due to be formally launched in late 2017. This initiative is funded by Enterprise Ireland under the LEO Competitive Fund.
