The HR Leadership and Management Awards celebrate excellence in HR and recognise the best organisations, individuals and projects operating in the HR industry in Ireland.
Aurion Learning’s and HSeLanD’s award for Most Innovative Use of Technology is in recognition for the key initiatives and urgent training requirements it has implemented in response to the global pandemic, and for its innovative approach to fully utilising technology to move HR forward and bring organisational benefits.
Together with Aurion Learning, the Health Service Executive (HSE) National HR- Capability and Culture function, designed and developed the HSE’s national eLearning and development portal, HSeLanD.
Enabled by innovative learning technology, HSeLanD is a central component of the HSE’s L&D strategy, providing essential online training and L&D initiatives to front line workers and staff across the health services.
Commenting on the award, Tony Liston, General Manager, HSeLanD, Leadership, Learning and Talent Management, HSE HR, Capability and Culture said:
“We're honoured to receive this acknowledgement and we’re thrilled that it recognises the innovative approach and strides we’re making to transform the L&D provision for the healthcare staff serve across our health service, who make HSeLanD what it is.”
Gavin Woods, Client Services Director at Aurion Learning said:
“Achieving innovation through technology requires effort and many innovations that contribute to a core solution. The HR Leadership and Management Awards enabled us to showcase how HSeLanD is driving organisational results AND meeting individual learning needs. The entire Aurion team are very proud to continue our strong partnership with the Health Service and provide innovative learning technology that helps health service staff to protect patients every day.”
This recent award adds to a growing list of accolades for Aurion Learning and HSeLanD, who recently secured a prestigious Bronze Award for Best Learning Team at the 2021 Brandon Hall Awards and were winners of the 2019 CIPD Ireland Awards for ‘Best Use of Technology in People Management.’
