ABM launch new learning app to support new families
Posted on the April 25th, 2023
The new ‘ABM Learn’ app has been launched by the Association of Breastfeeding Mothers (ABM) and designed and developed in collaboration with eLearning specialists, Aurion Learning.
ABM aims to support and inform families through the breastfeeding journey with first hand experiences and information for new parents and families.
The ‘ABM Learn’ app will empower families to meet their goals, respect their circumstances, and direct mothers, parents, and broader families to help with more complex problems.
Developed using Aurion Learning’s mobile learning offering, ByteKast. The app covers topics, including night times, going back to work and introducing other foods that are structured into engaging learning pathways, providing accessible learning at a time and pace that works best for families.
Commenting on the launch of the learning app, Eleanor Campbell, Chair of ABM said:
‘We are delighted to introduce the ground-breaking ABM Learn app. Leaning on over 30 years of experience, we hope to inform, support, and empower families with information and guidance on breastfeeding. The app was designed to offer support anytime and anywhere using interactive videos, quizzes, and articles. With ABM Learn we offer and support safe boundaries for your support, and where to direct mothers, parents, and wider family for help with more complex problems.’
Gavin Woods, Managing Director at Aurion Learning said:
‘We are thrilled to partner with ABM on this innovative learning project. It is vital to get the learning that people need directly into the hands of those who need it. ByteKast from Aurion Learning is the ideal solution to deliver this crucial content to families’
The ABM Learn app is free to download on the Google Play (Android) and iTunes store (Apple) and a desktop version will also be available at https://abmlearn.bytekast.io/
