One of the UK's leading universities, Queen's University Belfast, has appointed online learning experts, Aurion Learning, to design and develop a new Equality and Diversity eLearning package for their 20,000 University students.
The new eLearning programme will cover a range of Equality and Diversity topics and play an important role in outlining a student’s behavioural responsibilities whilst drawing attention to what is acceptable conduct to their fellow students and staff members.
Aurion will work with both staff and student representatives from the University during the development process to produce a contemporary program that is accessible via modern mediums such ‘Smart’ phones and tablets.
The new student programme will be the second Equality and Diversity eLearning programme that Aurion have developed for the University, having previously worked on the ‘Diversity Now’ project for the University’s Staff Training Unit.
Commenting on the announcement, Client Services Director, Gavin Woods said:
“We are delighted to be working with the Queen’s University team again and lend our expertise to this initiative. The project represents a great opportunity to produce a modern, attractive module that has a real impact on attitudes and behaviours.”
The programme is scheduled to go live to the first group of students in early 2017.
